Everything factual on this site is checked against primary sources: the register of Two main bodies: the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC PH) regulates securities, CFDs and investment solicitation; the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is the central bank overseeing FX transactions, leverage and payment systems. The SEC does not currently issue local retail-forex/CFD dealer licences, so most Filipinos trade with offshore-regulated brokers (FCA/ASIC/CySEC). Verify at sec.gov.ph and bsp.gov.ph., the broker's own legal documents, and its published trading conditions. The register itself is public - pse.com.ph - so any licence claim on this site can be re-checked by the reader in a minute. Secondary sources - user-review platforms, press reports - are used for reputation, never for figures.
What we earn and how
Some links on this site are partner links: if a reader opens an account through one, we may be paid a commission at no additional cost to them. Commission never changes what a page says. We have no paid placements and no sponsored verdicts. We are not Investagrams and we do not act for it; nothing here is financial advice.
How often we update
Every page shows when it was last reviewed, and the underlying Philippines material was refreshed on 2026-07-07. When the underlying facts change, we change the page and the date with it - we do not quietly refresh a timestamp.
How we test what we are told
A claim reaches the page only when we can name where it came from. We read the Philippines version of the conditions: entity, licence and limits change from one country to the next. An unverifiable number is dropped, not approximated: a missing value costs the reader nothing, a wrong one can cost money.
